"I’ve lived my whole life in Brooklyn. I live now in Fort Greene in Brooklyn, which is a gentrified neighborhood. Malika, my co-director, lives in Clinton Hill, a gentrified neighborhood. Crown Heights is a couple of neighborhoods away from us. So, we are hoping that our film can start a dialogue that helps the "Crown Heights" around our country to have hope that they’re not going to get wiped out, that they won’t be remade by real estate developers. synopsis

While exploring the juggernaut trend of gentrification nationwide, we see what local activists and residents are doing with the Crown Heights Tenants Union, and its founder Donna Mossman, to fight against the ever-present threat of displacement.
