Kevin Rafferty is an American documentary film cinematographer, director, and producer, best known for his 1982 documentary The Atomic Cafe, which he co-produced with Jayne Loader and his brother Pierce. In addition Kevin is the director, producer, editor and cinematographer of many documentary projects, including BLOOD IN THE FACE, THE WAR ROOM, FEED, AND THE LAST CIGARETTE. His latest project is HARVARD BEATS YALE 29-29. Filmmaker Pierce Rafferty grew up in Connecticut and moved to New York City in 1982. Two years later Pierce and his former spouse, Margaret Crimmins, founded Petrified Films, Inc, a pioneering independent stock film footage library that held the Elmer Dyer Film Library, Warner Bros. and Columbia Pictures' feature film outtakes. With his brother Kevin Rafferty and Jayne Loader, Pierce made the cult classic film THE ATOMIC CAFE (1982) and at present serves as the Director of the Henry L. Ferguson Museum, Fishers Island, New York.
